Children 0-11 years: Read and Complete Activities for Prizes
  • Complete up to three levels on our “Every Hero Has a Story” Game Board.
  • Earn a prize at each level and a chance to win a Kindle Fire Kids Edition or Nabi 2 Tablet after completing all levels.
  • In June and July, visit the library and fill out a Super Hero or Super Villain Registration Card to be entered in special weekly prize drawings.
  • Attend events for children of all ages nearly every day this summer!

Charlie’s Birthday Wish: Rene Micka
Witness a bully being banished by his bullying banter. Charlie's birthday wish is to be forgiven for being cruel to his friends at school. With help from his mother he learned that friendships have to be earned. Charlie told them all that he was wrong and invited them to a party to sing a birthday song. Will his friends forgive Charlie and come to his party? Local author Rene Micka will read us her book and speak about bullying.
